Compact Range Feeds

Compact Range Feeds from 2.6GHz to 18GHz, single (S) and dual (D) polarization models can be supplied. Both types of models have 3 frontal corrugations with a gain of 13.5dBi and a cross polar discrimination at 8 deg of around 40 dB.

The D models are excited using two 180º hybrids and a PIN switch for selecting the horizontal or vertical polarization.

We build two types of single (S) polarization feeds. The first, more compact for the lower bands, is similar to the D model but with only one 180º hybrid. The second type, which is also used

for all the bands higher than 18GHz, uses either a coaxial to circular waveguide transition or a rectangular waveguide to circular waveguide transition (example represented below).
